Rulio measures distances using your camera. Everything it sees is processed on your device, in real time. Camera frames are not recorded, not saved, and never leave your phone — including to us.
Rulio needs camera access to run ARKit, Apple's augmented-reality framework. ARKit uses the live camera image to understand the space in front of you so the app can place points and measure between them.
Saved measurements — the numbers, their type, and the date you took them — are stored in a database on your phone. They are not synced to a server and we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them with it.
Rulio Pro is an auto-renewing subscription handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. Apple tells the app whether a subscription is active — nothing more.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
