Drena has no account and no server of its own. Everything you record — check-ins, sessions, photos — stays on your iPhone.
We do not sell or share your personal data, and nothing Drena sends is used to track you across apps or websites. The only data that leaves your device is the subscription and app-usage information described under “What we receive”.
Your morning check-ins, the factors you tag, your completed sessions, your quiz answers and your settings are written to a database file inside the app's own container on your device. They are included in your device backup if you back up your iPhone, and they are covered by that backup's encryption — not by anything we operate.
Drena uses Adapty to run its subscription screens and to confirm purchases with the App Store. Adapty receives:
This is used only to operate and improve Drena's subscriptions. It is not linked to your identity and not used for advertising. Your check-ins, health data and photos are never sent. Drena contains no advertising and no crash-reporting service, does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework, and does not read the advertising identifier.
If — and only if — you grant permission, Drena reads your body mass from Apple Health. An overnight change in weight is a useful objective check against how puffy you feel, which is otherwise entirely subjective.
Drena does not use your camera. For face programs you can add a before and an after photo: the system photo picker hands Drena only the single photo you choose, so no photo-library permission is requested. The photo is stored inside the app on your device and is never uploaded.
Reminders are scheduled locally by your device. They are not push notifications, so nothing about them reaches a server.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card, your billing address, or your Apple Account. Apple tells the app only whether a subscription is currently active.
Articles in Drena link to published studies on PubMed. Opening one leaves the app and hands you to your browser, where that website's own privacy policy applies.
Drena is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Deleting the app removes its database from your device. Because we hold no copy of your records, there is nothing of them for us to erase. To have the subscription data held by Adapty for your installation deleted, write to nastya.shchaveleva@internet.ru. If you have restored from a backup, deleting the app again removes the restored copy too.
Drena is a wellness app. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition, and it is not a medical device. If you have persistent or one-sided swelling, or you have been diagnosed with lymphoedema, speak to a clinician.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If we ever add anything that transmits data off your device, this page will say so before that version ships.
